What we actually do
We cut, bend and weld steel, stainless and aluminum into things that get bolted to buildings. Most weeks that means stair rails and gates for houses, plus a steady run of commercial handrail, stairs and structural pieces for contractors.
Every job starts with a tape measure on site. We draw it, you sign off on the drawing, and then it gets built in our Tontitown shop and test-fit before it's finished. Paint or powder coat happens after it fits, not before. That's how you avoid touch-up paint on a brand new rail.
Code matters on anything people walk on. Residential guards are 36 inches minimum, commercial guards are 42, and a 4-inch ball can't pass through the pickets on either. We build to the numbers your inspector is going to check. More on code rail.
We weld MIG and TIG, mostly steel, some stainless and aluminum. Finish is usually powder coat, sometimes paint or a clear coat over raw steel. Our own crew installs it, and most jobs are within about 45 minutes of the shop. Send us photos and you'll hear back within two business days.
Yes, we're the hot rod shop
If you know the name from car shows, that's us. We've built chassis, engine mounts and full custom trucks for years.
Here's why that matters for your railing: a rail is a lot of cuts that have to line up and welds that have to look good up close, with nothing to hide behind. Chassis work is the same thing with less room for error. Your stair rail won't be the hardest thing we weld this month.

We come measure
Stairs and anything structural get measured on site. Walls and floors are never as square as the plans say.
You approve a drawing and a price
You see exactly what's getting built, the finish, and the install date range before we cut anything.
We build, finish and install
Built and test-fit in the shop, sent out for powder coat if that's the finish, then installed by our crew.

Questions we get a lot
Do you install, or just fabricate?
We install. The same people who build it in the shop bolt it down or weld it in on site. If your builder would rather set it themselves, we can do fabricate-only and deliver.
How far out do you travel?
Most of our work is within about 45 minutes of Tontitown. That covers Springdale, Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, Siloam Springs, Farmington and the towns in between. Farther than that, call and ask. Bigger jobs are usually worth the drive.
Can you match an existing railing?
Usually, yes. Send a few close photos of the old rail, the post spacing and a tape measure on the top rail and pickets. If a part was cast or forged, we'll tell you straight whether we can get close or whether it's time to replace the run.
