About the shop

Ball Metal Fabrication is a welding and fab shop in Tontitown, Arkansas. A lot of people know us from the hot rod world: custom chassis, engine swaps, trucks that end up at shows. That's still a big part of what happens in the shop.

The other part is the work that pays the bills in every fab shop around here: railings, stairs, gates and steel for houses and commercial buildings. We've been doing it quietly for years for builders and homeowners who found us by word of mouth. This site is us finally putting that work out front.

How we work

Small shop, so the person who measures your job is close to the person who builds it, and usually the same crew installs it. Nothing gets handed through three departments.

We give you a drawing and a price before we cut anything. If the job changes, the price conversation happens before the work, not on the invoice.

We'll tell you when something isn't a fit. If you need aluminum storefront, glass railing systems from a national supplier, or a job six hours away, we'll say so and point you to someone who does it.

What's in the shop

MIG and TIG welders, saws and tube benders for rail work, and the fixtures and jigs we've built up over years of chassis fabrication. Install goes out on our own truck and trailer.
